Our Open Day for new pupils takes place on Friday 1st June. The teachers and staff are really looking foward to meeting all the boys and girls who'll be starting Belmont Nursery School in September.

First Aid Course

Don't forget to let a member of staff know if you're interested in going our first aid course for parents, grandparents, childminders etc. There are 2 courses, an evening course on Thursday 24 May and a daytime course on Wednesday 30 May.

This course is certified and really worthwhile.

National Pet Month

The children will be visiting Pets@home this month. The date is to be confirmed. In June Zoolab will be visiting the school with some more unusual animals!

School Closure

Children's last day of term is Tuesday 3rd April. School reopens Monday 16th April.

Unicef's Day for Change

We're raising money for Unicef's Day for Change 2012 Education Through Sport.

Children will take part in disco dancing and football events on Friday 30th March. They can dress up for the day, girls can come in their favourite party dress or as a princess, boys in their football shirt or as a superhero.

Children should bring 50 pence to school.

We can't wait to be see the children boogie on the dancefloor and score on the pitch!

St Patrick's Day

We'll be celebrating St Patrick's Day on Friday16th March. Children can come to school wearing green. Do any parents/grandparents play traditional Irish instruments? Maybe you would like to come in and share your talent with the children.

School will be closed on Monday 19th March 2012.

Christmas Holidays

The afternoon class will finish for Christmas on Wednesday 21st December.

The morning class will finish on Thursday 22nd December.

The full-time class class will finish on Thursday 22nd December at 11.15 am.

Belmont Nursery School reopens for all pupils on Monday 9th January.

Santa Visit
