Belmont Nursery School is a purpose built setting located in the Pennyburn area of Derry. For more than 40 years, it has been maintained to an exceptionally high standard. We are an educational pre-school, providing 52 full-time places. Our school day runs from 8.45am to 1.15pm.

Our motto, “Play, Laugh and Learn,” is reflected in the wide range of meaningful learning experiences we provide. Both our indoor and outdoor environments have been carefully designed to inspire curiosity, support development, and offer stimulating, age-appropriate challenges.

The positive ethos within our school has been highly praised by ETI:

The pre-school year is a special and memorable time for children and their families. Our goal is to work closely with you to build your child’s confidence, self-esteem, and enthusiasm for learning. We aim to achieve this by:

• Planning an enjoyable, creative and play-based programme that meets the individual needs of every child.
• Ensuring parents and guardians feel welcome, informed, and involved in the pre-school experience, school events, and their child’s progress.
